Job description

The Summer Intern Technician primary responsibility will be to replace displays, batteries and bezel’s on iPods. The Technician will perform testing & troubleshooting on electronic and electrical components to determine functioning level and capability.

• iPod battery, display and bezel replacement experience or iPhone / iPad battery, display and bezel replacement experience
• Builds, programs, tests, troubleshoots, repairs, and modifies equipment and systems through the application of principles and theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, engineering mathematics, electronic and electrical testing
• Diagnoses & tests malfunctioning apparatus using test equipment; replaces damaged or broken wires and cables using hand tools
• Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment

Qualifications

• Soldering 
• Testing & Troubleshooting 
• Electronics Repair & Repair of Mobile Devices 
• Expertise with Apple Operating Systems – knowledge of navigating through the OS.
• Ability to cooperate with others to give and receive information both verbally and in writing / via email.
• Ability to apply knowledge and work independently as needed. 
• Small electronics repair experience is needed. 
• Experience with electronic testing equipment (bench power supply, oscilloscope, voltmeter, caliper, dial indicator, micrometer) is a plus
